Our Journey and Evolution

Pomona is a Georgian brand dedicated to producing premium, 100% natural dried fruit snacks. Our story began in 2022 in the historic village of Mukhrani, Mtskheta district. The inspiration behind the company was born from professional expertise in agronomy and a passion for cultivating high-quality orchards.

Our growth has been supported by key international and local partners:

• In 2022, with a grant from British Petroleum (BP), we acquired our first drying equipment, which marked the official start of our production.

• In 2023, we were awarded a grant from the Enterprise Georgia agency under the Micro and Small Entrepreneurship Support Program. This allowed us to expand our facilities, add new machinery, and broaden our product range.

Mukhrani Orchards and Local Sourcing

We take immense pride in our plum orchards located in Mukhrani, which provide the superior raw materials for our dried plums and fruit leathers (Tklapi). All other fruits and vegetables are sourced directly from local Georgian farmers. By doing so, we support the local agricultural economy and ensure the freshest harvest reaches our facility.

Quality and Food Safety

Consumer health is our top priority. In 2023, we successfully implemented the international food safety system HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points). This certification guarantees that every Pomona product is manufactured under the highest safety and hygiene standards.
